A concepção biologicista na Educação física: o discurso do corpo e suas relações saber e poder

Abstract

O presente estudo analisa o discurso do corpo na concepção hegemônica biologicista, no campo da Educação Física, por meio das relações de "saber” e “poder". O uso do corpo, nas dimensões sociocultural e política, na trama de interação com o seu meio, demarcados pelas práticas sociais, sinaliza os diferentes tipos de saberes, seus enunciados, suas práticas, discursivas e não discursivas, e aponta esse jogo de forças e de vontades, desejos e sedução, que se explicitam enquanto práticas disciplinares controladoras, frutos dos valores culturais da sociedade, que se distribuem por instrumentos ligados à Ciência, à Igreja e ao Estado. Considerando o movimento da Educação Física no Brasil, contextualizada na concepção biologicista, foi investigada a sua construção histórico-discursiva, tendo como suporte teórico e metodológico a "Arqueogenealogia do Saber", a partir da reflexão de Michel Foucault (pós-estruturalismo). Frente às possibilidades teórico-metodológicas foi possível analisar os impactos sobre a teoria social e cultural, permitindo conceber uma nova forma de ver e compreender o mundo. Por meio de diferentes estratégias que se articulam em determinados posicionamentos críticos, conseguimos identificar a ordem dos "discursos", assinalando que em seus enunciados o discurso biologicista tem sua formação através do controle minucioso do corpo nas teias e capilares do poder, desde o século XVI, em que é revelado o uso social e político do corpo, mediante as estratégias de implantação dos exercícios como meio capaz de atender as regras disciplinares, para depois enquadra-lo como objeto de saber e poder. A Medicina Higiênica, o Militarismo, o Nacionalismo, o Dualismo Corpo/Alma, o Esporte e a Ciência, são marcos que cedem os enunciados formadores desse discurso, colhidos no cenário dos acontecimentos, submetidos ao jogo das regras das formações discursivas, denunciando a articulação que objetiva à preparação do sujeito útil a sociedade capitalista, como força de trabalho, tornando-o um instrumento de relação de poder, no uso de seu próprio corpo. Esse processo em que o saber é investido de poder, permitiu-nos entender que o poder desse Saber são relações que estabelecem diferentes construções discursivas, tornando-se instrumentos para criar verdades, opor a verdades e até mesmo corrigir verdades, nunca explicitando sua real intenção de controlar a própria sociedade.

The present research analyses the discourses of the body in the biologicist hegemonic conception, in the Physical Educational area, between the relations of “knowledgement” and “power”. The body uses into the socialcultural and politics dimensions according to its environment, points to the social practices, show us the different kinds of knowledgement, its subjects, its discursive and non-discursive practices, pointing to a game of forces and wishes, desires and seduction, that explain itself as a controlling practical disciplinary, results of the cultural values of the society that are distributed by instrument linked to the Science, Church and the State. Considering the movement of the Physical Education in Brazil, contextualized in the biologicist conception, it was investigated its historical and discursive structure, having as a theorical and methodological support the “Archaeogenealogy of knowledgement” basing in Michel Foucault´s reflexion (post-structuralism). Beyond the theorical-methodological possibilities have been possible studying the impacts about the social and cultural theory, allowing to concede a new way to see and understand the world. Through the different strategies that are evolved in certain points of critical views, we could identify the classification of the “discourses”, pointing that in their subjects the biologicist discourse has its formation through the deep control of the power since the sixteenth Century, that is revealed the social and political use of the body, by means of the strategies of the implantation of some exercises as a way able to teach the disciplinaries rules, to use them later as an object of knowledgement and power. The Hygienic Medicine, the Militarism, the Nationalism, the Body/Soul Dualism, the Sport and the Science are marks that transfers the statements able to form this speech that was taken in the scenery of the occurrences that were submitted to the game of discursive rules, denunciating the articulation that has the purpose to prepare an useful person to the capitalist society as a work force, transforming him an instrument of the power relation in the use of his own body. This process that the knowledgement is vested of power, allowed us to understand that the power of this learning are relations that establish different discursive constructions, transforming in instruments to create trues, against the trues and inclusive correcting trues, never expliciting its real intention in controlling the own society.
