DECOLONIZANDO PENSAMENTOS E HISTÓRIAS DO UNIVERSO FEMININO, UMA APROXIMAÇÃO NECESSÁRIA: A CONTRIBUIÇÃO DE BELL HOOKS

Abstract

. Seeking knowledge and approximation to feminism and the fight against patriarchal education rooted in society. We analyzed reports from the work of bell hooks, which brings, in addition to a lot of knowledge, an easy-to-understand language, aiming to disseminate what feminism is, how we must fight it from raising antisexist sons and daughters. The freedom to be who you are lightly, against preconceptions instilled from birth. The self-esteem that is important for this journey, and recognizing in themselves the sexism imposed on us by patriarchal upbringing. The constant dispute between women, very stimulated even in today's world. Understanding that we are not all in the same situation, many due to their differences in social class and race, and not letting that stop them from continuing in the movement. Knowledge will always be the best way to share struggles and discoveries on topics of such relevance as feminism.
