CARACTERIZAÇÃO DA VIOLÊNCIA DOMÉSTICA E FAMILIAR CONTRA A MULHER NO MUNICÍPIO DE TRÊS LAGOAS/MS: UMA ANÁLISE A PARTIR DE REGISTROS POLICIAIS (2020 - 2022)

Abstract

This research proposal aims to centralize the characterization of domestic and family violence against women in the city of Três Lagoas during the years 2020 to 2022, with a focus on the documents of the Women's Safety Program (PROMUSE) of the Military Police of the State of Mato Grosso do Sul. The research aims to analyze various aspects, including the profile of the victims, the perpetrators, the history of violence, and the prevalent types of violence. Additionally, the research will explore the correlation between the use of alcohol and drugs and the occurrence of domestic violence, the impact of this use on the escalation of the perpetrator's aggressiveness, as well as investigate whether physical violence is the most commonly reported type of violence in comparison to others. Data analysis will be conducted comprehensively, combining descriptive and inferential statistical methods. The results are expected to contribute to a better understanding of the phenomenon of domestic violence at the local level and raise awareness in society.
