A inclusão escolar em Mato Grosso do Sul e o Plano Estadual de Educação

Abstract

This book has the objective is to analyze the process of materialization of Goal 4, Special Education, of the Mato Grosso do Sul State Education Plan (PEE-MS – Portuguese acronym) 2014-2024 in the State Education Network of MS. By the research carried out it was found the expansion of enrollments of students special education in common classes of schools in the State Teaching Network of MS, the expansion, also, of specialized educational assistance in the multifunctional resources rooms and in the Specialized Educational Assistance Centers and the clashes between the public sector and the private-assistance institutions in the educational service of this public. It is concluded that the State Government of MS, despite developing actions for the inclusion of Special Education students in common classes, it maintained these agreements, which does not correspond to the inclusive perspective, based on the concept of school inclusion that Special Education students must have access to the common class of the school of regular education, place of schooling for all.
