Abstract

Cultural Studies, characterized by a plural approach to knowledge, manifested inter and transdisciplinary, brings together researchers from different areas of Social and Human Sciences and Languages ​​and takes the sociocultural practices of differences, the diversity of knowledge, material and immaterial production of social subjects , its circulation and apprehension and the power relations expressed in these processes as objectives of analysis. What emerges from this is a frontier, socially oriented knowledge. This collection aims to present studies about sociocultural practices, differences, seeking to understand the complex tension of social relations between groups marked by their distinction, diversity and difference, their experiences of subjectivation, aspects necessary for understanding contemporary society. The work is aimed at researchers, teachers and students from different backgrounds who are interested in the knowledge produced in the field of Cultural Studies, contributing to the expansion of academic dialogue.
