Os sentidos construídos pelos estudantes surdos em práticas translíngues no Facebook

Abstract

Esta dissertação trata sobre os sentidos produzidos por meio do Facebook pelos estudantes surdos da educação básica de um município do interior de Mato Grosso do Sul. Os objetivos deste estudo visam: identificar as translinguagens (recursos tecnológicos – Emoticons, gifs, imagens, gráficos, etc.) presentes nas interações estabelecidas pelos surdos nas redes sociais; e, analisar os sentidos das translinguagens empregados pelos estudantes surdos no Facebook. Para alcançar estes objetivos abordamos a temática pela perspectiva histórico cultural e as análises formam feitas por meio das categorias da Translinguagem: Envoicing, Recontextualizar, Interacional e Entextualização. Participaram da pesquisa duas estudantes surdas da educação básica com idade de 27 e 23 anos, matriculadas no 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental e 3º ano do Ensino Médio, respectivamente. Para realizar este estudo, utilizamos a técnica da netnografia que trata sobre técnicas de pesquisas online, para buscar as informações das publicações realizadas pelos estudantes nos seus respectivos perfis do Facebook, foi realizada a captura de tela no período de três meses de publicações. Os estudos revelaram que a construção de sentido é realizada por meios das diversas translinguagens presentes na ferramenta do Facebook e que com a prática translíngue, é possível ampliar as possibilidades comunicativas dos estudantes surdos no processo de produção, ampliação e negociação de sentido.

ABSTRACT - This dissertation deals with the meanings produced through Facebook by deaf students of basic education in a municipality in the interior of Mato Grosso do Sul. The objectives of this study are: to identify the translingual (technological resources - Emoticons, gifs, images, graphs, etc.) present in the interactions established by the deaf in the social networks; And to analyze the meanings employed by the deaf in translingual practices. In order to reach these objectives we approach this theme by the historical cultural perspective and the analyzes are made through the categories of the Translinguagem: Envoicing, envoicing, recontextualization, interactional, and entextualization. Accepted to participate in the study two deaf students of basic education aged 27 and 23, enrolled in the 9th year of Elementary School and 3rd year of High School, respectively In order to carry out this study, we used the technique of netnography, which deals with online research techniques, to search the information of the publications carried out by the students in their respective Facebook profiles, the screen capture was carried out in the period of three Months of publication. The studies revealed that the construction of meaning is accomplished by means of the transligual present in the Facebook tool and that with translingual practice, it is possible to increase the communicative possibilities of deaf students in the process of production, amplification and negotiation of meaning.
