O profissional de psicologia no CRAS : análise das práticas socioeducativas

Abstract

Esta pesquisa teve por objetivo compreender a atuação de psicólogos no CRAS (Centro de Referencia da Assistência Social), focando sua atenção nos aspectos socioeducativos desta prática profissional. O referencial teórico-metodológico que direcionou as reflexões foi a Teoria Histórico-Cultural, desenvolvida por Vygotsky. Realizou-se um estudo do tipo pesquisa de campo em que os sujeitos foram sete profissionais de psicologia que atuam em CRAS no município de Campo Grande-MS, os quais foram ouvidos por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas. A técnica de análise de conteúdo serviu de referencial para organização dos dados, que foram interpretados a luz do referencial teórico da teoria histórico-cultural. Corroborando estudos já realizados concluiu-se que as políticas sociais abriram um vasto campo de atuação para a Psicologia, no entanto parece que os cursos de formação não tem sido suficientes para preparar o profissional para atuar nesta área. Foi possível observar um momento de reconstrução de identidade dos profissionais de Psicologia que atuam nas políticas públicas, pois estes profissionais ainda têm sua imagem fortemente vinculada às representações da Psicologia clínica, área que predominou historicamente na ciência psicológica e que ainda prevalece nos dias atuais, contudo a Psicologia está em um momento de expansão para outras modalidades de intervenção, e a prática na área das políticas públicas se caracteriza por diferenciar-se da tradicional atuação clínica e apresentar um caráter mais socioeducativo. Destacou-se também neste estudo a importância das práticas socioeducativas para o trabalho do psicólogo no âmbito da política de assistência social, e a contribuição da educação e das ciências sociais para atuação nesta área.

ABSTRACT - The aim of this research was to understand the role of psychologists in the CRAS (Social Assistance Reference Center), focusing their attention on the socio - educational aspects of this professional practice. The theoretical-methodological reference that directed the reflections was the Historical-Cultural Theory, developed by Vygotsky. A field-study study was carried out in which the subjects were seven psychology professionals working at CRAS in the city of Campo Grande-MS, who were heard through semi-structured interviews. The technique of content analysis served as a reference for data organization, which was interpreted in the light of the theoretical framework of historical-cultural theory. Corroborating studies already carried out it was concluded that social policies opened a wide field of action for Psychology, however it seems that the training courses have not been enough to prepare the professional to act in this area. It was possible to observe a moment of reconstruction of the identity of the professionals of Psychology that act in the public policies, since these professionals still have their image strongly linked to the representations of Clinical Psychology, an area that historically predominated in the psychological science and that still prevails in the present days, however Psychology is in a moment of expansion for other modalities of intervention, and the practice in the area of public policies is characterized by differentiating itself from the traditional clinical performance and presenting a more socio-educational character. This study also emphasized the importance of socio-educational practices for the work of the psychologist in the context of social assistance policy, and the contribution of education and social sciences to action in this area.
