Representação e resistência nos relatos da população em situação de rua de Três Lagoas-MS

Abstract

O contexto social de Três Lagoas caracteriza-se, atualmente, pela ampliação do mercado de trabalho e pela expansão do fluxo migracional, consequência desse processo. O objetivo desta pesquisa é apontar as representações construídas pela população em situação de rua acerca das instituições família e trabalho com o intuito de rastrear as convergências e divergências presentes das formações discursivas e identificar as subjetividades desses sujeitos que reconhecem nesse espaço-rua, um lugar comum. A hipótese é a de que algumas das representações construídas pela população em situação de rua acerca de elementos da vida cotidiana: família, trabalho e dinheiro configuram uma estratégia contínua de resistência em relação ao sistema de padrões e regras que se exercem (in)voluntariamente dentro da sociedade. Fundamentamo-nos, especialmente, nos pressupostos teóricos de Foucault (1972/ 1979/2006 b, c) e Coracini (2007/2010 b, c). Inscrito no paradigma discursivo, com base no método arqueogenealógico foucaultiano, o trabalho constituiu-se na gravação dos relatos da população em situação de rua. Esta dissertação divide-se em três capítulos. No primeiro, apresentamos os principais conceitos da Análise do Discurso de linha Francesa em junção a algumas contribuições dos Estudos Culturais; no segundo, tratamos do contexto sócio-histórico de Três Lagoas, que perpassa as condições de produção dos relatos da população em situação de rua; e no último, analisamos a construção identitária dos sujeitos em situação de rua, a partir das representações que perpassam o imaginário desses sujeitos. As relações familiares, trabalhistas, econômicas e sociais consistem em relações de poder e, nesse contexto, a população em situação de rua resiste, construindo novas formas de sobrevivência, elegendo novos estilos de vida e estabelecendo discursos de valor em meio às adversidades enfrentadas individual e coletivamente no interior do espaço-rua. É, no entanto, ao mesmo tempo em que eles resistem que se assujeitam a uma exclusão social, o que assinala o paradoxo desse estar entre-lugares. Os discursos confrontam-se constantemente e desvelam identidades cindidas entre a resistência e a vontade de integração.

Três Lagoas’s social context is currently characterized by the increase of the job market and the expansion of the migrational flow, as a consequence of this process. This research aims at pointing to the representation built by the homeless population concerning institutions such as family and work, in order to track the convergences and divergences found in the discursive formations and identifying the subjectivities of these subjects who recognize the city streets as a common place. The hypothesis is that, some of the representations built by this homeless population on daily life elements such as family, work and money, represent a continuous strategy of resistance towards the system of patterns and rules (in)voluntarily performed in the society. We have grounded this work on Foucault’s theoretical assumptions (1972/ 1979/2006 b, c) e Coracini (2007/2010 b, c). Inscribed in the discursive paradigm based on the foulcautian archaeo-genealogical method, this work was made up of recordings of the homeless reports. This thesis is divided into three chapters: in the first one, we have presented the main concepts of French Discourse Analysis along with some contributions from cultural studies; in the second chapter, we have dealt with the socio-historical context of Três Lagoas which permeates the production conditions of the homeless reports; in the last chapter, we have analyzed the identity formation of the these homeless subjects, from the representations which permeate the ideal of these people. The social, economic, work and family relations consist of power relations and, in this context, the homeless population resists, building new ways of survival, choosing new life styles and establishing value discourses in the middle of adversities faced by them as individuals and as groups in the streets. At the same time, however, they resist but also subject themselves to social exclusion, which shows the paradox of not having permanent places to live in. Their discourses constantly confront and unveil identities divided between resistance and the desire of integration.
