CONSTRUINDO FERRAMENTAS EDUCACIONAIS: SIMULADOR DE EROSÃO NO ENSINO DE GEOLOGIA E SOLOS

Abstract

The approach to the subject of “Soils” in the classroom emphasizes the importance of its conservation for the maintenance of life on Earth. This article is the result of an experiment carried out in the classroom, in the subject of Science, with the participation of primary school students from a full-time public school and students taking part in the Institutional Teaching Initiation Scholarship Program (PIBID) at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS). The general aim of this study was to present an active methodology for teaching the processes of soil erosion and conservation, through practical lessons, thus facilitating the students' learning process with the respective subject.
