Afetividade e escolarização: relato de uma experiência

Abstract

This experience report defends the thesis that the teacher-student relationship is fundamental at all levels and types of teaching, especially considering that in many situations the teacher becomes a reference providing affection and attention that the student does not receive at home. This indicates that the interaction established between teacher and student, through affectivity, can affect the representation that this child or young person will have regarding other social relationships that they will establish throughout their lives. Affectation that can be positive or negative, involving the social, cultural and economic conditions around it. Thus, a teacher who is affectionate with his students establishes a safe relationship, avoiding cognitive and affective blocks, helping the student to overcome mistakes and learn from them.
