Consumo e digestibilidade do feno de Brachiariia brizantha cv. MG4 por bovinos suplementados com diferentes niveis de uréia

Abstract

Avaliaram-se o consumo e a digestibilidade aparente da matéria seca (MS), matéria organica (MO), fibra em detergente neutro (FDN), proteina bruta (PB), carboidrato não fibroso (CNF), extrato etéreo (EE) e nutrientes digestiveis totais (NDT) do feno de Brachiaria brizantha cv. MG4 de baixa qualidade na presença de niveis crescentes de uréia. Foram utilizados cinco novilhos Nelore, machos, castrados, com peso médio inicial de 420 kg, canulados. Os animais receberam água e mistura mineral ad libitum e a alimentação base constituiu de feno de capim braquiária, com teor de PB próximo a 3%. Os tratamentos foram: apenas feno para o controle (PO) e niveis crescentes de uréia adicionada diretamente no rúmen visando incrementar em 2% (P2), 4% (P4), 6% (P6) e 8% (P8) o nivel protéico dietéico da dieta. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi o quadrado latino, com cinco tratamentos e cinco periodos experimentais. Os dados foram analisados utilizando-se o programa SAEG (Sistemas de Análises Estatisticas e Genéticas). Foram observados aumentos lineares nos consumos de MS, MO e FDN quando foi elevado o nivel de proteina de 3,4% até o valor de 9,9% na dieta e redução nos mesmos quando o nivel de proteina foi de 11,6%. Não foram observadas diferenças significativas para os consumos de CN e EE. A adição de niveis crescentes de uréia não provocou efeitos sobre as digestibilidades da MS, MO, FDN e CNFs em todos os tratamentos e a digestibilidade da PB apresentou efeito quadrático. Conclui-se que o nitrogenio tem importancia prioritária ao ambiente ruminal quando bovinos são alimentados exclusivamente com forrageira de baixa qualidade e que a resposta mais satisfatória do animal ocorre quando o equivalente protéico da dieta atingiu o valor de 10% de PB.

The intake and apparent digestibility of dry matter (DM), organic matter (OM), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), crude protein (CP), non fiber carbohydrate (NCF), eter extract (EE)) and total digestible nutrients (TND) of the low quality Brachiaria brizantha cv. MG4 hay were evaluated on presence of increasing urea levels. Where used five Nellore steers, male, castred, with average weight of 420 kg, canuled. The animals had receive water and minerals mix ad libitum and the basic food was made of brachiaria hay with CP level next to 3%. The treatment were: only hay for to control (PO) and increasing levels of urea added directly in the rumen aiming to develop in 2% (P2), 4% (P4), 6% (P6) and 8% (P8) the dietetic protein level of the diet. The experimental delineation used was the latin square, with five treatments and five experimental periods. The data were analyzed using the program SSAG (System of Statistic and Genetic Analysis). Linear increases in the consumptions of DM, OM and NDF were observed when the level protein was raised from 3,4% to 9,9% in the diet and reduction in the same ones when the level of protein was 11,6%. Significant differences weren't observed for the consumption of NCF and EE. The addiction of urea increasing level didn't provoked effects under the digestibilities of DM, OM, NDF and NCF in all treatments and the digestibility of CP shown quadratic effect. It is concluded that the nitrogen has priority importance for the raise of ruminals microorganisms, resulting the increase of consumption and the deficiency of energy seemed to be the limiting effect, doesn't having effect in the digestibilities. It is concluded that the nitrogen has priority importance for the ruminal environment and it is suggested the supplementation the voluminous's CP with urea until the level of 10% to fed bovines with low quality roughage.
