Atendimento Educacional Especializado (AEE) em Corumbá e Ladário

Abstract

The literature highlights the growing importance of school inclusion for students targeted by Special Education (PAEE), highlighting the provision of specialized educational services to implement Inclusive Education. Despite this, there is a gap in information about the implementation of these resources. This work has the general objective of verifying the organization of Specialized Educational Assistance (AEE) in Corumbá and Ladário, and the specific objectives: Identify forms of AEE; Know the structure offered by schools to students; and Know the number of students served. To achieve these objectives, the following steps were carried out: 1. Study of the literature on the topic and national guidance documents on the provision of specialized educational services; 2. Contact with the municipal education departments of Corumbá and Ladário; 3. Survey of data relating to the functioning of specialized educational services in the two municipalities. The research sought to expand reflections on inclusive pedagogical practices, with the aim of contributing to the construction of equitable and quality education.
