Título: Educação infantil e os direitos do escolar indígena no município de Naviraí-MS

Resumo: Investiga as normativas que orienta a educação infantil e os direitos a educação intercultural indígena no município de Naviraí - MS.
Abstract: The present study sought to describe the regulations that guide Early Childhood Education and the rights to indigenous intercultural education in the country. The objective of this study was, based on the description of the legal framework, to analyze educational policies aimed at indigenous peoples in the city of Naviraí, Mato Grosso do Sul (MS). To this end, qualitative, exploratory research was carried out, based on a bibliographic review and documentary analysis, from 2019 to 2022. The research results point to gaps to be overcome in the management of school education for indigenous people in an urban context. Although the municipality, in recent years, has implemented educational projects aimed at educating these students, there was a need to increase the number of indigenous teachers, fluent in the Guarani language, and the absence of intercultural teaching materials to support teaching work . The article defends the expansion of public investments aimed at continuing teacher training, the production and distribution of intercultural teaching materials and the urgent need for investment in the infrastructure of indigenous schools in the municipality of Naviraí/MS.
