AÇÕES EDUCATIVAS DE COMBATE E PREVENÇÃO À VIOLÊNCIA CONTRA A MULHER EM ESCOLAS ESTADUAIS NO MUNICÍPIO DE NAVIRAÍ-MS NO PÓS- PANDEMIA

Abstract

Violence against women constitutes a violation of human rights and fundamental freedoms. Itis also any gender-based action or omission that causes death, injury, or various types of suffering, and can occur within the domestic and family unit. In addition, it is characterized as a form of gender violence, which occurs because the target of violence is the female person,considering the social, political and cultural construction of masculinity(ies) and gender. (s)femininity(s). Thus, this study aimed to investigate the educational actions that were developed by state schools, spaces of this research, located in the municipality of Naviraí-MS, during the pandemic and post-pandemic, to reduce cases of violence against the female gender. The methodology used in the research had a qualitative and exploratory approach, inwhich we used the non-structured interview as a data production technique. The research subjects were two coordinators of state schools in the municipality of Naviraí-MS who carried out projects with elementary and high school students from their respective schools regarding the topic of violence against women in the post-pandemic period. With the research it was noticed that the students are receptive to the subject, they demonstrate to like to approach the subject, and they report having already witnessed situations arising from the mistreatment of women. Therefore, it is understood that schools should disseminate knowledge about human rights, especially about women's rights, proposing discussions on gender equality and equity.
