Linguagem e educação: interações, sentidos e identidades

Abstract

This book Language and Education: Interactions, Meanings and Identities comprises the results of research carried out in the area of Linguistic Studies, in several institutions in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul. This diversity of enunciative locus allows the reader access to the discursive or socio-interactional theoretical-methodological scope, but the transdisciplinarity, characteristic of both perspectives, allows dialogues and duels between the disciplines, in order to make the themes of its three parts interrelated. In the first one, they are discussed in a discursive-deconstructive conception, what language researchers have observed when they take as their object of study the saying of the deaf teacher, the saying of the textbook about the indigenous, as well as the technologies in the school, via platforms digital tools for the teaching-learning of the deaf. The articles in Part II aim to articulate different perspectives on the media in contemporary society, and depart from different perspectives, permeating the teaching of English, Critical Philosophy and Discourse Analysis. In Part III, the authors, from the perspective of studies that relate Conversation Analysis, Pragmatics and Strategic Communication for a Culture of Peace, propose reflections on spoken language, especially on the effects of meanings caused by conversational strategies. Aimed at the academic and external community, the work can provide opportunities for debates and pedagogical and social interventions, through proposed reflections and themes of extreme relevance to society, within the scope of Language and Education.
