Intensive land use in the Indaiá I, II, III, and IV settlements, within the Indaiá stream basin, has caused significant environmental impacts, particularly related to soil erosion. To assess this process, the study applied the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE) integrated with the InVEST Model to estimate soil losses. The results indicated soil losses ranging from 0 to 2649.43 Mg ha−1 year−1, with an overall average of 10.42 Mg ha−1 year−1. Moderate soil losses, less than 10 Mg ha−1 year−1, occur in 80.94% of the Indaiá stream basin. Analysis of maximum values by land use and land cover class showed that the greatest losses occurred in areas of seasonal deciduous forest (2649.4 Mg ha−1 year−1), exposed soil along roads (2009.9 Mg ha−1 year−1), and degraded pastures (1520.9 Mg ha−1 year−1). However, the highest average soil losses occurred in the erosive processes class (285.81 Mg ha−1 year−1) and exposed soil (159.35 Mg ha−1 year−1). Finally, the study demonstrates that the application of RUSLE integrated with the InVEST Model is effective in estimating soil losses, constituting an important tool to support territorial planning and management actions in the Indaiá stream watershed.-
