AS RELAÇÕES SOCIAIS CONSTRUÍDAS POR MEIO DA DANÇA TRADICIONAL JAPONESA NO FESTIVAL BON ODORI EM CAMPO GRANDE – MS

Abstract

In this Final Course Project (TCC), the aim was to understand which social relationships can be established through traditional Japanese dance that takes place during the Bon Odori Festival in Campo Grande - MS. Accordingly, in conducting this study, bibliographic sources from the fields of dance anthropology and body anthropology were employed, together with the concept of Body Techniques developed by Marcel Mauss (2003). Furthermore, participant observation during the festivals that took place throughout the research, conducted in the years 2023, 2024, and 2025, the main tool of the ethnographic method, combined with semi-structured interviews, my active participation within the community, and a scientific initiation scholarship, were fundamental for carrying out this study.
