This article is part of the inter-institutional research project "Narrative Research: Interfaces between Gender Diversity, Experiences, Struggles, and Resistance in the Academic Environment," developed in partnership among UFMS, UFSCar, and UEMS, and linked to the Biograf Research and Study Group (UFMS/CPNV). The project aims to analyze, through the lens of gender diversity, the experiences of struggle and resistance lived by female and LGBTQIAPN+1 students in higher education. Within this broader investigation, the present study focuses on the narratives of two students from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul – Naviraí Campus – emphasizing how gender, race, and class intersect in their academic journeys. Grounded in feminist and decolonial epistemologies, the study draws on authors such as Silvia Federici, Gerda Lerner, Kimberlé Crenshaw, and Djamila Ribeiro, and adopts a narrative methodology guided by Fritz Schütze’s biographical analysis and Walter Benjamin’s hermeneutic perspective. The interviews reveal experiences shaped by multiple forms of exclusion — such as racism, single motherhood, disability, and class inequality — but also by strategies of resistance and self-reinvention. The study highlights the power of narrative listening in producing situated knowledge and affirming a more plural, inclusive university committed to social justice.-
