Dificuldades e desafios enfrentados pelas mulheres ingressas no curso de História da Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul em Aquidauana para permanecerem no ensino superior

Abstract

This study aims to highlight the difficulties and challenges faced by women studying History at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS), Aquidauana Campus. To achieve this objective, a bibliographical survey was used to provide a general overview of the issue, drawing on different authors and their respective approaches. Subsequently, field research was conducted to profile these students and their difficulties and challenges through questionnaires. The article is structured in two parts: the first provides a brief presentation of the research topic, highlighting different approaches; and the second presents the case study, beginning with a brief overview of the support available to UFMS students and then presenting the results obtained in the research. Among the conclusions, we can point out that the interviewees still face difficulties, despite the incentives and benefits provided by the institution, but they are able to carry out their academic activities, demonstrating that they seek achievement not only for their own benefit, but primarily to ensure the well-being of their families.
