Contribuições da psicanálise ao se pensar o papel da mulher negra no Brasil

Abstract

In psychoanalysis, women are surrounded by controversial assumptions, and the countless attempts at definition are the greatest validation of this statement. In 1924, Freud began a systematic attempt to understand the Oedipus complex from a female perspective. In addition, there were many other attempts and works by Freud that attempted to “unveil” female nature. During the 1920s and 1930s, there was intense literary production about female sexuality, mainly by second-generation psychoanalysts such as Karl Abraham and Melanie Klein. Although these theorists opposed Freudian issues related to female sexual development, they always used the concepts developed by him to begin their formulations, even if to question him. This study proposes to discuss the contributions of psychoanalysis to better understand Black Women, making a historical/cultural cut that focuses on Black Brazilian Women. A theoretical study was carried out, which has as its theme the contributions of psychoanalysis to thinking about the position of black women in society and to assist in writing the text, a bibliographic survey of publications related to the subject was carried out on the following platforms: SciELO, PubMed, Lilacs. To delimit the field of investigation, the following articles can be identified in languages between Portuguese and English, based on the filter between the years 2000 to 2024, the selection was based on the reading of title, abstract and descriptors, with the following exclusion criteria: systematic review articles, which did not fit the inclusion criteria, published outside the stipulated time window, duplicate articles, or incomplete articles. The psychoanalyst must consider historical issues and be aware of their time, in the sense of not remaining oblivious to society when listening to the subject. The subject has history and differences, and their speech regarding this historicity is considerable for the analysis process. It is possible for the psychoanalyst to be anti-racist, without his practice being in the direction of consisting of identifications.
