Over the last few decades, the inclusion of women in decision-making spaces in Brazil has been marked by a process of role reconfiguration, although it still faces structural challenges such as gender inequality and social invisibility. In rural areas, specifically within the scope of family farming, women's participation constitutes the pillar supporting diversified production and food security. However, the appearance of invisibility of women's work persists, frequently relegated to the category of "help" or extension of domestic activities. This work aims to analyze the participation of women in family farming in the municipality of Naviraí-MS, investigating the social, economic and cultural dimensions of this inclusion, with emphasis on the work of the Association of Women of the Juncal Settlement (AMAJU). The research adopts a qualitative approach, based on participant observation and reports collected at the Naviraí Family Farming Fair (Feira do Galo). The theoretical foundation is anchored in the concepts of patriarchy and the sexual division of labor. The results show that, although there are advances without economic protagonism and without female empowerment through associativism and public policies (PAA/PNAE), patriarchal structures remain that limit the full autonomy and formal recognition of women as farmers. It is concluded that spaces such as the open-air market and associations are territories of resistance and transition from invisibility to productive protagonism.-
