      <description>Título: Limitações e aspectos promotores para a alimentação saudável em pessoas idosas: uma revisão de literatura narrativa
Abstract: Aging is a natural process of human life that occurs differently for each individual. The challenges of this stage become more evident with population aging, especially regarding food, which is influenced by changes in the digestive process and in the functional capacity of older adults. Healthy and balanced eating plays an essential role in maintaining tissue nutrition and body functioning, ensuring better quality of life. This narrative literature review aimed to describe and identify the main limitations and factors that promote healthy eating among older adults. The search for articles was carried out in the SciELO and CAPES Journal databases, using the descriptors “older adults AND eating habits,” “older adults AND nutritionist,” “older adults AND eating behavior,” “older adults AND income,” “older adults AND mastication,” “older adults AND caregivers,” and “older adults AND autonomy.” Studies from the last 11 years identified economic, social, and physiological aspects as barriers, including tooth loss or absence, sensory and cognitive changes. In contrast, social and family support, autonomy, the work of health professionals, physical activity, care, and the effectiveness of public policies were identified as facilitators for adequate eating habits. It is concluded that eating behavior is multifactorial, requiring a critical approach and attention to both health and the dietary practices of older adults.&#xD;

      <title>MODULAÇÃO DA MICROBIOTA INTESTINAL POR INTERVENÇÕES NUTRICIONAIS NOS PRIMEIROS DOIS ANOS DE VIDA: UMA REVISÃO NARRATIVA</title>

      <description>Título: MODULAÇÃO DA MICROBIOTA INTESTINAL POR INTERVENÇÕES NUTRICIONAIS NOS PRIMEIROS DOIS ANOS DE VIDA: UMA REVISÃO NARRATIVA
Abstract: The first two years of life are crucial for the formation of the intestinal microbiota, along with immunological, metabolic, and endocrine development. During this period, factors such as type of delivery, breastfeeding, antibiotic use, and dietary introduction modulate microbial colonization. This study aimed to analyze the main factors that influence the formation and modulation of infant intestinal microbiota, with a focus on nutritional interventions capable of promoting healthy intestinal development. Breast milk remains the main modulator, favoring the predominance of bifidobacteria and protection against pathogens. Advances in infant formulas, with the inclusion of prebiotics, probiotics, and oligosaccharides, have shown potential to bring the microbiota of non-breastfed infants closer to that of breastfed children, promoting greater bacterial diversity, strengthening the intestinal barrier, and reducing inflammation. These strategies, combined with adequate dietary introduction, represent promising resources for supporting intestinal health in the first years of life. However, gaps remain regarding the long-term efficacy and safety of these interventions, especially in different population contexts. The conclusion is that modulating the gut microbiota through nutritional strategies is a promising way to promote healthy growth and reduce the risk of future diseases, but requires new clinical evidence to support consistent recommendations.

      <title>Efeitos do zinco nos transtornos de ansiedade: uma revisão integrativa</title>
      <link>https://repositorio.ufms.br/handle/123456789/13849</link>
      <description>Título: Efeitos do zinco nos transtornos de ansiedade: uma revisão integrativa
Abstract: Anxiety disorders are a significant issue with considerable impact on individuals quality of life. Despite the knowledge on the importance of nutrition in psychopathologies, evidence supporting the association between minerals and anxiety remains limited. Thus, this integrative review aimed to analyze the available literature on zinc and anxiety in adults. A bibliographic search was conducted in PubMed and Scopus databases. 309 articles were initially identified, of which 7 met criteria for inclusion. The findings showed similar results: dietary patterns with recommended zinc intake are related to a lower risk of anxiety and its protective effect on cognition and mental health disorders. Although the study designs reviewed do not allow for causal inference, the observed outcomes, jointly with the physiological mechanisms of the mineral, suggest its role in the pathophysiology of anxiety disorders and highlight the need for further research.
