<description>Título: O QUE SABEMOS SOBRE A POLINIZAÇÃO DE ESPÉCIES DE CROTON (EUPHORBIACEAE)?
Abstract: Croton is a megadiverse genus whose species occur mainly in the Americas. It presents economic and sanitary interest, being essential that we know its reproductive biology to enable the management, control or conservation of its species. In this study, we propose to review and compile information related to the pollination of species on this genus. Only 23 articles were found in two international databases and cross-reference. Sixteen species of Croton were included in the studies, which means that we have less than 2.5% of the species of this genus with information about pollination and in only nine countries of the more than 55 in which there is a record. The limited pollination studies indicate that the flowers of most species are not specialized for a single type of pollination vector. Thirteen species present information about flower visitors/pollinators in the scientific literature and include 62 species of insects, especially wasps (16 species), bees (10), beetles (10) and flies (9).
