    <title>ESTUDO DE PROTEÇÃO, COORDENAÇÃO E SELETIVIDADE DE UMA INDUSTRIA TÊXTIL</title>
    <link>https://repositorio.ufms.br/handle/123456789/14375</link>
    <description>Título: ESTUDO DE PROTEÇÃO, COORDENAÇÃO E SELETIVIDADE DE UMA INDUSTRIA TÊXTIL
Abstract: The protection of electrical power systems is a fundamental element to ensure safety, reliability, and continuity of energy supply, being essential for equipment integrity and proper operation of industrial installations. In this context, this work addresses the study of protection, coordination, and selectivity applied to a transformation substation of a textile industry, supplied at medium voltage. The study includes the analysis of the electrical system configuration, as well as the application of methodologies for short-circuit current evaluation, sizing of measurement and protection equipment, and definition of protection device settings. In addition, technical and normative criteria are considered for relay parameterization and verification of coordinated operation among protection devices. The analysis is complemented by the evaluation of time-current curves, allowing the verification of system selectivity, as well as its capability to withstand transient electrical stresses. Thus, this work highlights the importance of the correct application of electrical protection principles, contributing to the safe, efficient, and reliable performance of industrial electrical systems.

    <description>Título: Estudo de proteção e seletividade aplicado à conexão de um sistema geração distribuída em uma subestação de média tensão
Abstract: This work presents a protection and selectivity study applied to the connection of a photovoltaic power plant of approximately 1.4 MWp to a medium-voltage substation. The objective was to evaluate and validate the coordination between the consumer unit protection and the utility protection, in accordance with the criteria established by Energisa-MS standards NDU-002 and NDU-015. The methodology was based on a case study, including system data collection, per-unit electrical modeling, calculation of symmetrical and asymmetrical short-circuit currents, determination of ANSI and NANSI points of the transformers, and definition of the settings for phase and neutral overcurrent protection functions. The results, presented through coordination curves, demonstrate that the adopted settings ensure protection selectivity, respect the thermal limits of the equipment, and guarantee the reliability and safety of substation operation. It is concluded that the applied methodology meets the regulatory requirements and can be used as a reference for similar studies in medium-voltage distributed generation systems.

    <title>PROJEÇÃO DE CUSTOS DE IMPLANTAÇÃO E OPERAÇÃO PARA ELETROPOSTO COM DUAS ESTAÇÕES DE RECARGA DE 60 KW UTILIZANDO UM SISTEMA FOTOVOLTAICO ON-GRID</title>

    <description>Título: PROJEÇÃO DE CUSTOS DE IMPLANTAÇÃO E OPERAÇÃO PARA ELETROPOSTO COM DUAS ESTAÇÕES DE RECARGA DE 60 KW UTILIZANDO UM SISTEMA FOTOVOLTAICO ON-GRID
Abstract: This paper presents a study on the implementation and operation costs of a charging station with two 60 kW fast charging stations using an on-grid photovoltaic system. The advantage verified in this study is the use of photovoltaic energy as an alternative to the expansion of the EV (Electric Vehicle) sector, associated with the reduction of negative impacts on the stability of the electrical grid and greater environmental sustainability. The sizing of an appropriate photovoltaic generation system is presented, evaluating the amount of energy produced to meet the demand of the charging station and the projection of operational costs throughout the useful life of the project, including: Maintenance, electricity expenses, fees and eventual equipment replacements and economic feasibility analysis of the project using indicators such as net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR) and payback. A bibliographic research is also presented to determine the technical requirements and identify the main costs for project implementation. Given this, it is found that a 400 kW photovoltaic plant is sufficient to meet the energy demand of the charging station, with an initial investment of R$ 1.667.558.52 and operating and maintenance costs of 1.5% of the investment, showing a reduction in the average annual energy cost of R$ 275.628.19. Therefore, it can be concluded that despite the high initial&#xD;
cost, the project is economically viable, with a return on investment within a maximum period of 6 years. Finally, this study can assist managers in the public and private sectors in the technical and economic feasibility analysis and in decision-making regarding projects and installations of fast-charging charging stations in the future.

    <title>Análise do Controlador PID Autoajustável Baseado na Rede Neural de Brandt-Lin</title>
    <link>https://repositorio.ufms.br/handle/123456789/13976</link>
    <description>Título: Análise do Controlador PID Autoajustável Baseado na Rede Neural de Brandt-Lin
Abstract: PID controllers (Proportional, Integral, and Derivative) are widely used in&#xD;
the industry because they have a simple structure. However, these controllers have&#xD;
challenges because the performance goals often conflict with each other, and the&#xD;
plant’s parameters can change during operation.This work analyzes the self-tuning&#xD;
PID (APID) controller. It is based on the Brandt-Lin neural network algorithm com-&#xD;
bined with two-loop compensation. The adaptive PID lets the gains (𝐾𝑝, 𝐾𝑖, 𝐾𝑑) ad-&#xD;
just continuously, looking for optimized performance in both the transient response&#xD;
and the steady-state response.The study aims to use the Simulink environment to&#xD;
simulate the controller’s mathematical model in three types of plants: first-order,&#xD;
second-order, and an unstable system.The analysis was divided into two parts: at&#xD;
the start of the operation and at the end of the controller’s operation, to see how&#xD;
the APID adjusts itself.Using the resulting gains obtained from the simulation, it&#xD;
was possible to find the PID’s transfer function at the two stages of operation. This&#xD;
made it possible to apply the concept of the Root Locus (RL) and the step res-&#xD;
ponse for a complete controller analysis.The analysis showed satisfactory results in&#xD;
all plants, improving the speed of response, eliminating the steady-state error, and&#xD;
stabilizing a plant with a pole in the right half-plane.
