    <title>Entre os Vermelhos e os Brancos: o papel dos anarquistas na Revolução Russa</title>
    <link>https://repositorio.ufms.br/handle/123456789/14647</link>
    <description>Título: Entre os Vermelhos e os Brancos: o papel dos anarquistas na Revolução Russa
Abstract: This paper analyzes the participation of anarchists in the Russian Revolution of 1917 and the Russian Civil War (1918–1922), highlighting their political, social, and military role amid the disputes that shaped the revolutionary process. The study seeks to understand the involvement of libertarians in workers' and peasants' organizations, their defense of self-management, free Soviets, and federalist organization, as well as the conflicts established with the Bolshevik project of centralized power. Special attention is given to the Makhnovist movement led by Nestor Makhno in Ukraine, considered the main expression of anarchism during the Civil War. The paper also discusses the debates between self-management and centralization, local autonomy and a strong state, as well as the subsequent marginalization of anarchist participation in Soviet historiography. It concludes that anarchists represented a significant revolutionary alternative to the Bolshevik model, contributing to a broader understanding of the political plurality present in the Russian Revolution and its competing projects of social transformation.

    <title>Messianismo, fome e religiosidade popular no filme Os Fuzis, de Ruy Guerra</title>
    <link>https://repositorio.ufms.br/handle/123456789/14589</link>
    <description>Título: Messianismo, fome e religiosidade popular no filme Os Fuzis, de Ruy Guerra
Abstract: This article aims to analyze the representation of religious messianism in the film Os Fuzis, directed by Ruy Guerra and released in 1964. The film, associated with Brazilian Cinema Novo, presents a narrative set in the northeastern backlands, marked by drought, hunger, the presence of soldiers, and popular religiosity. The main focus of the analysis is, therefore, to understand how the “holy ox”, the preacher, and the sertanejo population express a form of religious hope in the face of a social reality marked by abandonment, poverty, and the lack of real alternatives to escape these social hardships. Thus, the film is treated in this study as a historical source and cultural production, based on the contributions of Marc Ferro and the debates on cinema and history. The discussion on messianism is mainly supported by Lísias Nogueira Negrão and Jacqueline Hermann, authors who help to organize the dense debate on Brazilian messianic movements and to think about the relations between popular religiosity, social crisis, poverty, abandonment, and the search for salvation. The article argues that, in Os Fuzis, messianism does not appear only as fanaticism or alienation, but as a symbolic response of a population subjected to hunger, violence, and the absence of the State.

    <description>Título: ARTE RUPESTRE: A MANIFESTAÇÃO DA CAPACIDADE INTELECTUAL E SIMBÓLICA NO COGNITIVO DO DESENVOLVIMENTO HUMANO
Abstract: This study aims to highlight the influence of rock art created by Homo species from the Paleolithic era (51,000 years ago) to the Neolithic era (500 years ago), which significantly contributed to human cognitive evolution across the planet, with an emphasis on the rock art found in the Mato Grosso do Sul region. Paleolithic artistic expressions, marked by paintings and engravings in caves and shelters, primarily represented hunting scenes, fauna, and abstract symbols, evidencing a developing symbolic consciousness and the beginning of the human capacity for abstraction and narrative. In the Neolithic period, rock art reveals a transformation in lifestyle, with the emergence of agriculture, domestication, and the first villages, and expresses new dimensions of social organization, spirituality, and collective identity. Rock art, represented by drawings and paintings on rocks, reveals not only the technical and symbolic skill of early humans but also denotes their forms of social organization, spirituality, and perception of the world. The references examined indicate a progressive increase in the structural complexity of human cognition.This phenomenon manifests itself through the proliferation of symbolic systems, the articulation of visual narratives, and the encoding of spatiality fundamental components for the origin and consolidation of epistemic thought. Therefore, this research emphasizes the relevance of understanding the cultural and cognitive origins of humankind, particularly in regional contexts such as Mato Grosso do Sul, aiming to value and conserve the primitive artistic expressions and rock art heritage of the region. The study is structured in four chapters: the first addresses the historical and cultural context of rock art and its importance in understanding human evolution, exploring the cognitive and symbolic evolution reflected in rock art representations; the second describes the archaeological sites of Mato Grosso do Sul and the cultural and artistic importance of these manifestations; the third analyzes the challenges and community involvement in the protection of cultural heritage; and the fourth reflects on the impact of rock art on the formation of humanity's cultural identity. This study was developed through a broad bibliographic survey based on the Literature Review (LR) methodology, respecting rigorous criteria for data search, analysis, and synthesis, which allows for a well-founded reflection on the topic.&#xD;
