Arquitetura Neurodiversa: Ambientes de Trabalho para Mentes Atípicas

Título: Arquitetura Neurodiversa: Ambientes de Trabalho para Mentes Atípicas
Abstract: The growing awareness of mental health and neurological diversity has increased the
number of neurodivergent adults being diagnosed, which highlights the need to provide
support to this group in the professional sphere through the creation of spaces that
reduce cognitive barriers. Given this reality, this work presents an architectural design
proposal for a neuroinclusive coworking space in the city of Campo Grande, Mato Grosso
do Sul. The choice of the coworking typology can be interesting as it accommodates
professionals with diverse profiles, such as remote workers, freelancers, and small
businesses, allowing a single physical environment to adapt to diferent demands. To
guide the development of the project, a literature review was conducted on the needs of
neurodivergent workers from the perspective of neuroarchitecture, which guided the
design decisions. This architectural design aims to integrate neurotypical and
neurodivergent people using neuroarchitecture strategies directed to people with ASD
and ADHD through the addition of spaces such as refuge and decompression areas.

Título: Unidade Terapêutica Feminina: Acolhimento e reinserção de mulheres em situação de dependência química.
Abstract: This study focuses on the situation of women living with chemical dependency and
their specific vulnerabilities in the face of social exclusion, prejudice, and the lack of
public policies directed toward this issue. These factors hinder access to adequate
treatment and social reintegration, particularly when considering the specificities of
female-oriented care.
The methodological approach was based on a theoretical review of related topics,
analysis of current legislation, urban studies, and surveys conducted in the area
designated for the project's implementation. Additionally, interviews were held with
coordinators of existing male and female therapeutic communities in the city of
Campo Grande, MS.
As a result, the project proposes the design of a Therapeutic Unit for women, with
environments conceived to promote integration and care, thus contributing to
recovery and effective social reintegration.
Keywords: Chemical dependency; Therapeutic community; Female care; Social
reintegration.

Título: Espaço de Encontro: Cultura e Esporte no Jardim Nhanhá, Campo Grande
Abstract: Urban inequality in Brazil is marked by historical processes of exclusion and neglect by public authorities, reflected in peripheral areas that lack infrastructure, public facilities, and housing dignity. This work addresses this reality through the study of the former Nhanhá favela, located in the Piratininga neighborhood, in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, with the objective of proposing an urban intervention that promotes belonging, citizenship, and integration into the urban fabric. The proposal involves the requalification of the external area of the Guanandizão Stadium and the creation of a cultural square. Based on theoretical references and contextual surveys, the interventions seek to translate, through urban design, concepts of inclusion, permanence, and qualification of public space, transforming underused areas into more dignified, functional, and attractive spaces for the population.
