    <title>Elementos Básicos de Álgebra Linear</title>
    <link>https://repositorio.ufms.br/handle/123456789/14322</link>
<description>Título: Elementos Básicos de Álgebra Linear

<title>O que restou dos nossos amores? Da reivindicação de determinados corpos à política dos afetos</title>

<description>Título: O que restou dos nossos amores? Da reivindicação de determinados corpos à política dos afetos
Abstract: The book presented ("What remains of our loves? from the claim of certain bodies to the politics of affections"), that contains articles written by brazilian researchers and one foreigner researcher, will demonstrate how the status quo, anchored to a cis-heteropatriarchal, racial, classist, etc., from different societies around the world, perceives, understands and acts in relation to certain bodies. These, for reasons of gender/dissident orientation, race and class, do not have their rights guaranteed by the State and/other institutions, therefore they become dissident subjects, i.e., those who cannot circulate democratically in public spaces, because when they do, they are harassed, insulted, raped, and, many of them, lethally eliminated. The researchers proposed, in collusion and based on each of the texts, to think about the politics of affections, not in order to demand them, but to claim protective policies in the sense of asserting the rights that are guaranteed to the human person. In this sense, the politics of affections is a summons. An urgent demand. A way of seeking to repair structures that erroneously hierarchize certain subjects whose social status, for reasons of race, social class, gender, sexuality, is placed on a second-category level, insignificant or corresponding to abjection.

<description>Título: Olhares do PPGGeo/CPAQ ao Espaço, Ensino e Dinâmica Socioambiental
Abstract: The postgraduate course in Geography at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, Aquidauana Campus, received its recommendation to operate on September 11, 2013, and began its activities in January 2014. The program's primary objective is to enhance the training of human resources for research activities, scientific and technical advisory roles, and higher education teaching, focusing on geographical issues of social interest. Additionally, it aims to foster knowledge on topics related to its research lines. To increase the visibility of the research conducted within the master's program in Geography at UFMS/CPAQ, a book titled “Perspectives from PPGGEO/CPAQ on Space, Education, and Socio-environmental Dynamics” was compiled. This book presents a collection of articles produced by students and their respective advisors, whose research was developed during the 2020-2024 quadrennium. The book provides an in-depth understanding of issues of significant social interest, as it discusses public policies and their impacts on the local scale. The entire work is underpinned by the society-nature relationship, contributing valuable data for the analysis of Aquidauana-MS, its immediate region, and its biomes.

<title>Animais de importância médica de Mato Grosso do Sul</title>
    <link>https://repositorio.ufms.br/handle/123456789/14264</link>
<description>Título: Animais de importância médica de Mato Grosso do Sul
Abstract: Several species of animals (both invertebrates and vertebrates) produce chemical toxins that are used to kill or incapacitate prey or as a defense against potential predators. Some of these animals are capable of actively releasing their toxins into other animals through specialized teeth or by stinging them, and are therefore classified as venomous. They are distinguished from poisonous animals by the fact that the latter passively release their toxins into other animals through simple contact, or by inhalation, or even after being ingested. In Mato Grosso do Sul, we have records of several species of venomous animals that constitute a public health problem in the state and other regions of Brazil. Accidents caused by some of these species, especially those caused by arachnids, fish or snakes, can cause severe physical trauma and eventually lead to death. Considering that the identification of venomous species is an important procedure, as it allows the recognition of species of medical importance at a regional level and, at the same time, increases the population's awareness of the ecological importance of several of these species, this book was written by professors and students of the Institute of Biosciences of UFMS and aims to contribute to the training of students, professionals and future professionals in the areas of biological and health sciences, especially those interested in the study of hymenoptera, arachnids, fish, snakes and bats that occur in Mato Grosso do Sul.
