Abstract: This report reviews current literature on teamwork experiences of university students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It analyzes how collaborative activities affect learning, social integration, and academic outcomes, highlighting both barriers and strengths. Structured and inclusive environments foster engagement and skill development, while unstructured settings can heighten communication challenges. In Brazil, research remains scarce, especially in fields like Software Engineering where group work is essential. The study emphasizes the importance of inclusive pedagogical planning, faculty training, and institutional support to promote equitable participation for autistic students.
