Abstract: With the development of quantum mechanics in the first quarter of the last century, several fundamental philosophical problems arose. These questions are of an ontological, epistemological and logical nature, as well as discussions also raised in an axiological sense by its own pioneers. QM has revealed a conceptually innovative and astonishing picture of nature.
Since its beginnings, philosophical physicists such as Heisenberg and Weizsäcker have faced a difficult question: Can the statements of quantum mechanics be given a formal, axiomatic logical treatment within the framework of classical logic, or do they require the development of a new logic, specific to quantum mechanics - a quantum logic? This book aims to explore Werner Heisenberg and Carl von Weizsäcker's answer to this question.

Abstract: This booklet seeks to address the importance of associations as a way for family farmers to improve their lives and those of their families and communities, as well as to face the challenges of an increasingly competitive activity. People come together in their daily lives to meet needs, practice solidarity, promote change and undertake joint efforts, acting in groups when they wish to achieve common goals. For Balem (2016, p. 22), "the social organization of family farmers is a way for them to overcome the problems of the selective modernization process and seek new solutions, reinforcing the idea of being a farmer as a social category". This initiative is based on the principle that each location has its own characteristics in the associative/cooperative consciousness of conducting its activities. The municipality of Nova Andradina, located in the southwest of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, with an estimated population of over 50 thousand inhabitants, has a strong connection in its economic and social production based on family farming. The purpose of this manual is to provide family farmers with a broad view of the attitudes and behaviors that favor cooperation and the continued functioning of an association.

Abstract: The collection was conceived out of the need to bring together a set of works that analyse the Brazilian independence processes and the formation of the State and Nation. Over the course of 202 years, various national projects and historical narratives, marked by assertions and silences, have been developed. The collection covers both the national and international contexts of Brazil's Independence, as well as the periods of intense historiographical debate surrounding the centenary in 1922, the sesquicentennial in 1972, and the bicentennial in 2022. The analysis of national commemorations reveals how these moments are opportune for evaluating the past and the present, while also projecting future perspectives. The chapters offer valuable contributions by exploring different regions of Brazil, as well as the national and international contexts, and by analysing conceptual shifts and changes. The authors address a wide range of topics, from the international recognition of Independence to the relationship between Independence and the abolition of the slave trade, including the role of museums in preserving memory and the evolution of public education in Brazil. The contributions are interdisciplinary, addressing diplomatic, political, cultural, and educational issues. The collection serves to challenge accepted interpretations and to encourage new debates and research on Independence, the Empire, and contemporary Brazil, thereby contributing to the advancement of academic production on these topics at both national and international levels.

Abstract: What we call “Essays on Tectonics and Monument Design” is the result of a teaching experience combined with research that allows us to advance in nuances that are little dealt with in more general bibliographies, which is why we consider it more appropriate to call these writings essays. Chapter 1, “The tectonics of the domes of the Pantheon in Rome and St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican”, presents the notion of tectonics as discussed by various authors and takes a historical look at the written sources on the Pantheon. The dome of St. Peter's Basilica is discussed in order to establish the methodological sense of understanding that innovative architecture dialogues with the lessons of the past. The last two chapters highlight the importance of technical opinions, which are generally seen as minor literature, but which have become historical documents in which technical-professional knowledge has become a greater expression of culture: Chapter 2, entitled “Bramante's interpretation of the language and construction of the Duomo of Milan” and Chapter 3, entitled “The theme of restoration in the work of the conservator Alöis Riegl”.
