Ações relativas ao meio ambiente nas universidades federais no Brasil: uma análise do conteúdo informacional dos relatórios de gestão em 2021

Abstract

This study directs its focus to the analysis of IFES management reports in 2021, focusing on initiatives related to the environment. The objective is to deepen understanding of the role of IFES in the context of environmental preservation and in promoting a more sustainable future. Through this analysis, the aim is to identify not only the concrete actions undertaken by universities, but also the challenges they face and the opportunities that relate to environmental practices. In this context, the fundamental importance of these institutions as agents of transformation in the sustainability scenario is highlighted. As for the methodology adopted, the research is characterized by a mixed approach, combining elements of bibliographical, documentary and descriptive research, enabling the ranking of universities that most highlighted their actions and projects related to the environment. Next, a qualitative analysis of the reports of these institutions was carried out, aiming to detail the environmental actions implemented, exemplifying concrete initiatives.
