      <description>Título: Proposta de Roteiro Metodológico para Inspeção Predial Preventiva Baseada na ABNT NBR 16747:2020
Abstract: Building inspection is an important tool for assessing the safety, functionality, conservation, and durability of buildings, contributing to the early identification of irregularities and to the planning of maintenance interventions. This study presents a methodological proposal to support preventive building inspection, based on the guidelines of ABNT NBR 16747 (2020) and the principles of Building Diagnostics Engineering. The research is based on the observation that, although technical standards and regulations related to building inspection exist, there is still limited standardization of inspection procedures, which may lead to differences in data collection, documentation, and interpretation. The adopted methodology consisted of a literature review, analysis of technical standards, and examination of tools used in building inspections, aiming to develop a practical and systematic inspection methodology. As a result, a technical inspection guide, an operational checklist for field inspections, an evaluation and classification checklist for identified irregularities, and flowcharts to support irregularity assessment and intervention priority definition were developed. The proposal also incorporates the classification of irregularities according to their nature and origin, including the category of natural anomalies, as well as the application of the GUT Matrix as a complementary tool for prioritizing corrective actions. It is concluded that the proposed methodology provides instruments capable of supporting the organization of inspection stages, contributing to a more systematic and standardized inspection process. Future studies are recommended to apply the methodology to real buildings to evaluate their effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.

      <description>Título: Compatibilização de Projetos em uma Edificação Comercial de Múltiplos Pavimentos: Estudo de Caso.
Abstract: The design of multi-story commercial buildings requires integration among different design disciplines, especially when the project presents relevant topographic, geotechnical, and functional constraints. In this context, this paper presents the case study of a four-story commercial building intended for corporate and administrative use, with a ground floor designed for parking and reception, upper floors for work and support areas, and a technical roof level. The objective of the research was to analyze the sequence of project development, the coordination process among the involved disciplines, and the main technical solutions adopted in the enterprise. The adopted methodology is characterized as descriptive research with a qualitative approach, developed through documentary analysis of executive designs, technical reports, and complementary documents related to the case study. The results showed that the site and subsoil conditions directly influenced the building implantation, requiring earthmoving, topographic adaptation, retaining solutions, and measures compatible with the site drainage conditions. It was also verified that the definition of the structural system, the organization of the hydraulic and sanitary installations, and the fire safety requirements demanded successive adjustments and interferences among disciplines. It is concluded that project coordination was essential for consolidating the adopted solutions, contributing to the technical, functional, and executive feasibility of the enterprise.

      <title>Análise de Acidente de Trabalho em Obra de Reforma: Estudo de Caso sobre Queda de Altura e Irregularidades no Sistema de Gestão de Segurança</title>

      <description>Título: Análise de Acidente de Trabalho em Obra de Reforma: Estudo de Caso sobre Queda de Altura e Irregularidades no Sistema de Gestão de Segurança
Abstract: The construction industry ranks among the sectors with the highest incidence of serious and fatal workplace accidents in Brazil, with work at height being one of the leading causes of occupational mortality in the sector. This case study analyzes an accident that occurred in 2025 during renovation work on a religious building in the municipality of Campo Grande, MS, in which two workers employed by a subcontracted company providing air-conditioning system installation services suffered falls from height while performing their duties. The incident prompted the opening of a Civil Inquiry by the Labor Public Prosecutor's Office of the 24th Region (MPT/PRT 24th Region) and the conduct of an expert on-site inspection by the Forensic Division, which included analysis of documentation submitted by the contracting entity and identification of existing violations. The research, qualitative and descriptive in nature, was grounded in documentary analysis of the records from the aforementioned inquiry, with personal data redacted in compliance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD – Law No. 13,709/2018). The findings reveal that the absence of a Risk Management Program, Risk Assessment, Occupational Health Certificate with specific fitness clearance for work at height, Work Accident Report, and a technical scaffolding design constituted a state of partial documentary compliance that did not translate into effective protection for the workers, despite the existence of training certificates under NR-35, which governs work at height. The case underscores the joint liability of the contracting party in managing safety on subcontracted job sites and the need for effective controls that go beyond contractual formalization.&#xD;

      <description>Título: Análise e desenvolvimento de uma ferramenta computacional para verificação de vigas metálicas com seção I segundo a NBR 8800:2024
Abstract: The recent update to ABNT NBR 8800 introduced significant changes to the design criteria for steel structures, directly&#xD;
affecting the calculation routines used in professional practice. In this context, this paper presents the development of a&#xD;
spreadsheet-based computational tool for the structural verification of steel beams in accordance with ABNT NBR&#xD;
8800:2024. The methodology is based on the study of the current standard, the mathematical modeling of structural&#xD;
verifications, and the automated implementation of calculations. The obtained results were validated through a&#xD;
bibliographic example and comparative analyses, comparing the results with the tool's output. The findings highlight&#xD;
differences in resistance parameters and reinforce the importance of normative updates and the use of a computational tool&#xD;
that provides greater precision and lower possibilities of manual errors, as well as the practical applicability and ease of&#xD;
use of the developed tool. It is concluded that the tool is a viable auxiliary resource for professional practice, noting that&#xD;
the current scarcity of updated technical literature according to the 2024 version limits the performance of more extensive&#xD;
comparisons at this time.
