      <description>Título: MANUAL DE CUIDADOS PARA ESTOMIAS DE ELIMINAÇÃO: Um instrumento para você e sua família
Abstract: This involves the development of an educational manual for people with elimination ostomies and their caregivers, with the aim of supporting the process of adaptation, self-care, and promotion of quality of life. The material was developed with an accessible and welcoming approach, covering essential information about what an ostomy is, the different types of ostomies, stoma care, changing and handling equipment (one- and two-piece systems), use of adjuvants, prevention of complications, and guidance on when to seek professional help. The manual also addresses aspects related to nutrition, psychological care, the rights of ostomates, and strategies for organizing daily routines, reinforcing the user's role in self-care. In addition, it recognizes the role of the caregiver and the healthcare team in ongoing follow-up. By integrating technical, educational, and psychosocial guidance, the manual seeks to strengthen the autonomy, safety, and well-being of ostomates, contributing as a tool for health education and home care support.

      <description>Título: Conhecimento e práticas preventivas relacionadas à infecção por Papilomavírus Humano em meninas adolescentes e Agentes Comunitários de Saúde: Ação educativa e vacinação na escola
Abstract: The Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is the most prevalent sexually transmitted infection&#xD;
worldwide, affecting the skin and mucous membranes, with adolescents being the&#xD;
most vulnerable group. It is the main etiology of cervical cancer and is also associated&#xD;
with other neoplasms. Low vaccination adherence and lack of knowledge about the&#xD;
virus contribute to its continued circulation. This study aimed to evaluate the knowledge&#xD;
and preventive practices related to HPV among adolescents (aged 14 to 18 years) and&#xD;
community health agents (CHA). This is an analytical, cross-sectional, and quantitative&#xD;
research based on primary data collected through structured interviews conducted via&#xD;
Google Forms, organized in Excel spreadsheets, and secondary data extracted from&#xD;
the Citizen’s Electronic Health Record (PEC). The sample consisted of 95 adolescents&#xD;
from public schools located in the neighborhoods of Maria Aparecida Pedrossian and&#xD;
Jardim Noroeste, as well as schools offering places for girls residing in Jardim&#xD;
Noroeste, and 23 CHA from the Family Health Units Maria Aparecida Pedrossian&#xD;
(n=13) and Dr. Fernando Arruda Torres–José Tavares (n=10). The study was&#xD;
conducted from March to September 2024. Among the adolescents, 81.1% had heard&#xD;
about HPV; 41,1% (n=39) associated it with genital warts; 43.1% believed that the Pap&#xD;
smear prevents HPV; only 11.5% (n=11) recognized the skin as a route of&#xD;
transmission, and 1,1% (n=1) acknowledged that the infection can be asymptomatic.&#xD;
Regarding vaccination, 67.6% believed it is recommended only for the age group of 9&#xD;
to 14 years, while 23.5% (n=34) were aware of its expansion up to 19 years of age.&#xD;
Among the CHA, 47.8% considered that contaminated objects do not transmit HPV,&#xD;
although 95.6% reported providing guidance about the virus to families; 34.7% were&#xD;
unaware of the expanded vaccination age range, and 17.3% were unaware of the&#xD;
adoption of a single-dose regimen. Although 69.5% reported receiving training in their&#xD;
units, 30.4% stated that they do not receive such updates regularly These findings&#xD;
highlight the need for educational actions directed at adolescents, continuous training&#xD;
of community health agents, and strengthening of the School Health Program. They&#xD;
emphasize the essential work of community health agents and point to permanent&#xD;
strategies of education, active case finding, and vaccination aimed at reducing HPV&#xD;
and promoting collective health.

      <description>Título: COMPARAÇÃO ENTRE INDICADORES DE SAÚDE BUCAL NA ATENÇÃO PRIMÁRIA À SAÚDE EM MUNICÍPIOS DE LINHA DE FRONTEIRA E DEMAIS MUNICÍPIOS DOS ESTADOS FRONTEIRIÇOS
Abstract: Social and economic inequality in the Brazilian Border Strip (FF) continues to generate challenges in the treatment and achievement of oral health indicators in this region. Since the inclusion of oral health teams in the Family Health Strategy (ESF) in 2000, Dentistry has been progressively consolidated at all levels of the Unified Health System (SUS). The aim of this study was to compare oral health indicators within the FHS and Primary Health Care (APS) in municipalities located in the BS with those of other municipalities in bordering states. This is a longitudinal panel epidemiological study that included data from national information systems between 2015 and 2022, covering 1,722 municipalities, categorized as either Border Strip or Non-Border. The following indicators were compared: coverage of the first scheduled dental appointment; the ratio between completed treatments and first scheduled dental appointments; and the proportion of tooth extractions in relation to preventive and restorative individual procedures performed by the FHS, using the Mann-Whitney test. Statistical analyses were conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics software, adopting a 5% significance level. Better results were observed in the indicators of access to the first scheduled dental consultations and in the ratio between first consultations and completed treatments in the border municipalities, whereas non-border municipalities stood out in the indicator of the proportion between tooth extractions and restorative procedures. However, only the analyses of the indicators for coverage of the first scheduled dental consultation (2015–2022), the ratio between completed treatments and first consultations (2016 and 2021), and the proportion of extractions in relation to restorative and preventive treatments (2020–2022) were statistically significant. It was concluded that there are differences in health indicator outcomes between border and non-border municipalities. Nonetheless, further studies are required to investigate the individual characteristics of these municipalities, the mechanisms of financial transfers allocated to health services in this region, and the role of international cooperation. In this way, it would be possible to identify potential solutions to the challenges related to providing care for foreigners in the Brazilian border area.

      <title>AVALIAÇÃO DE IMPLANTAÇÃO DA POLÍTICA NACIONAL DE PRÁTICAS INTEGRATIVAS E COMPLEMENTARES NA ATENÇÃO PRIMÁRIA: OFERTA DE AURICULOTERAPIA NOS MUNICÍPIOS DE MATO GROSSO DO SUL</title>

      <description>Título: AVALIAÇÃO DE IMPLANTAÇÃO DA POLÍTICA NACIONAL DE PRÁTICAS INTEGRATIVAS E COMPLEMENTARES NA ATENÇÃO PRIMÁRIA: OFERTA DE AURICULOTERAPIA NOS MUNICÍPIOS DE MATO GROSSO DO SUL
Abstract: Auriculotherapy is a therapeutic procedure incorporated into the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS) as one of the 29 integrative and complementary health practices (CHP), according to Ordinance GM/MS No. 971, which addresses the National Policy on Integrative and Complementary Practices (NPICP). It is aimed at the treatment and prevention of diseases, promoting humanized care focused on prevention and health promotion. This study aimed to assess the degree of implementation of the National Policy on Integrative and Complementary Practices in Health (NPICP) in the municipalities of Mato Grosso do Sul (MS), with a focus on the provision of auriculotherapy in Primary Health Care (PHC). This quantitative research, with a cross-sectional ecological design, used secondary data from the Basic Health Information System (BHIS), the National Registry of Health Establishments (NRHE), the strategic management support platform (SMSP), and reports from the Pedagogical Coordination of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (PCFUSC). The evaluation considered three key determinants: (1) Qualification strategies in Integrative and Complementary Health Practices (PICS) for SUS professionals; (2) Structuring and strengthening of care in PICS; and (3) Actions for monitoring and evaluation of the policy. Among the 79 municipalities evaluated, 19.0% were classified as "Implemented," 10.1% as "Partially Implemented," 44.3% as "Incipient Implementation," and 26.6% as "Not Implemented." Therefore, the state of Mato Grosso do Sul is characterized by low levels of institutionalization of the PNPIC, specifically regarding auriculotherapy. In this context, it is necessary to invest in continuous training programs, prioritizing municipalities with lower degrees of implementation, as well as to broaden the participation of different professional categories, beyond nursing and physiotherapy, in training activities. The monitoring and evaluation of auriculotherapy and PICS indicators, along with the standardization of service records to ensure compatibility with the Ministry of Health’s information systems, are also fundamental measures for strengthening the policy.&#xD;
