<title>Cryptococcus spp. em unidades básicas de saúde de Campo Grande - MS : tipagem molecular e susceptibilidade antifúngica</title>
    <link>https://repositorio.ufms.br/handle/123456789/5298</link>
<description>Título: Cryptococcus spp. em unidades básicas de saúde de Campo Grande - MS : tipagem molecular e susceptibilidade antifúngica
Abstract: Cryptococcosis is a systemic and opportunistic fungal disease acquired by inhaling infectious fungal particles dispersed in the environment. The etiological agents of this disease are encapsulated yeasts that belong to the Cryptococcus neoformans and Cryptococcus gattii complexes. Avian feces, especially pigeons (Columba livia) are considered to be mechanical vectors of Cryptococcus spp. The objective of this study was to investigate the presence of Cryptococcus spp. in samples of pigeon droppings from 27 Basic Health Units (BHU) in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul; identify the molecular type and determine its susceptibility to antifungals. The collections were performed using spatulas to scrape the material and then stored in a sterile universal collector. The yeasts were identified by phenotypic (culture on Niger seed agar, canavanine-glycine-bromothymol blue agar - CGB and urease) and genotypic (PCR-RFLP of URA5 gene) techniques. Susceptibility to the antifungals amphotericin B, fluconazole, itraconazole and voriconazole was determined by the broth microdilution method standardized by the European Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing. A total of 354 samples of pigeon droppings were collected in 27 BHU distributed in the seven macroregions of the city. Cryptococcus of the C. neoformans complex, molecular type VNI, were isolated in 12 samples. Cryptococcus neoformans, VNI, the most prevalent molecular type in cases of cryptococcosis in the Midwest region of Brazil, is present in pigeon droppings of units providing basic health care. Control measures are necessary to decrease the exposure of susceptible people and municipal civil servants to the infectious propagules of this important opportunistic fungus.

<title>Relação entre indicadores de saúde cardiovascular, estilo de vida e aptidão física de jovens praticantes de futebol</title>
    <link>https://repositorio.ufms.br/handle/123456789/5192</link>
<description>Título: Relação entre indicadores de saúde cardiovascular, estilo de vida e aptidão física de jovens praticantes de futebol
Abstract: The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between cardiovascular indicators (systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and waist circumference), lifestyle (eating habits, physical activity, alcohol consumption, smoking and sedentary behavior) and the physical fitness (body composition, muscle strength, flexibility, aerobic fitness, muscle power and agility) in young recreational soccer players from Campo Grande, MS. The cross-sectional study was composed of 237 participants aged between 10 and 17 years (208 males and 29 females) of the “Escola Pública de Futebol” project proposed by the Municipal Sports Foundation of Campo Grande and financed by the Support Foundation. to the Development of Teaching, Science and Technology in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul. Data collection was divided into two blocks: questionnaire and physical assessment. Biological variables of sex and age were self-reported, and sexual maturation was analyzed by Tanner's stages. Eating habits were assessed by the Fantastic questionnaire, physical activity and smoking were assessed by the Youth Risk Behavior Survey. Alcohol consumption was assessed by Binge Drinking, and sedentary behavior was analyzed by self-reported screen time. Anthropometric measurements (triceps and subscapularis skinfold) were evaluated according to the International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry. Blood pressure was assessed according to the recommendations of the Brazilian Society of Hypertension. Aerobic fitness was assessed by the Shuttle Run test, flexibility was assessed by the sit and reach test, muscle strength was assessed by the manual dynamometry test, muscle power was assessed by the vertical jump and agility was assessed by the 4x10m test. The relationship between the dependent (cardiovascular indicators) and independent (lifestyle and physical fitness) variables was analyzed by multiple linear regression, controlled by biological confounding variables. To test possible mediations, the path analysis method and the structural equation model were used. Two original articles were produced from the main results of this thesis, being found that: systolic blood pressure increased with the increase in muscle strength (B=0.436), flexibility (B=0.360) and body adiposity (B=0.400 ); diastolic blood pressure increased with increased body adiposity (B=0.232) and sedentary behavior (B=0.129); waist circumference increased with the increase in muscle strength (B=0.203) and body adiposity (B=0.582) (p-value≤0.05); the health-related physical fitness mediation test in the relationship between lifestyle and cardiovascular health indicators showed that there was no mediation, since the assumption of the existence of mediation was that there was a relationship between lifestyle and mediators or between mediators and cardiovascular indicators, which did not occur. Sport is a strategy that should be better used in health programs for adolescents, as it influences important health indicators (such as health-related physical fitness) and helps in the formation of sports habits for the subsequent stages of life.

<title>Cotidiano e conteúdos inconscientes de cuidadores e repercussões do cuidado</title>

<description>Título: Cotidiano e conteúdos inconscientes de cuidadores e repercussões do cuidado
Abstract: Children and adolescents who find themselves in a situation of vulnerability are, for their rights, removed from the suffering environment and sent to shelter institutions, where they remain indefinitely, until they are referred to a substitute family or to return to their family of origin. In the institution, the host is faced with a new way of being cared for, with new rules and relationships. The objective of this study was to apprehend the meaning of care for children and adolescents under care, in the perception of caregivers of shelter institutions. This is a qualitative study carried out with 42 caregivers of children and adolescents who are in foster care in the city of Campo Grande (MS). A semi-structured interview was used as a research instrument, transcribed and systematized by the methodological foundation of the Collective Subject Discourse (CSD) and contribution to Winnicott's theory. Ten central ideas were identified, organized into two thematic axes: experiences and emotional and daily aspects and institutional aspects. The characterization of the caregiver was based on gender, age, education and length of service in the role. The survey revealed that most caregivers are female, the youngest being 24 years old and the oldest being 60 years old, few caregivers have completed higher education and have been in the role of caregiver of foster children for more than a year. As for the meaning of being a caregiver, this study revealed ten central ideas: caregiver as a mother, affective involvement, caregiver desires, gains in being a caregiver, profile of the host, psychological support, vision of care, unpreparedness, orientation and reality of the institution. The results showed the complexity of the caregiver's work and the ambiguity in relation to their feelings, as they recognize the importance of bonding and an affective relationship with the child or adolescent who is welcomed, but they experience the suffering of separation in the unwelcome. Regarding the caregiver's perception of emotional exhaustion and the difficulty in daily work situations, the lack of emotional support or to deal with practical issues involving the care of children and adolescents under care stand out. It is necessary to pay special attention to the caregivers of children and adolescents who are welcomed, creating a space for listening and, thus, for the awareness of their feelings, to deal with the difficulties that involve the daily work with this specific population. The study made it possible to reflect on the need for a favorable environment so that the host can walk in their development.

<title>Análise do controle de tronco em crianças com microcefalia</title>
    <link>https://repositorio.ufms.br/handle/123456789/5169</link>
<description>Título: Análise do controle de tronco em crianças com microcefalia
Abstract: Children with microcephaly are at risk for impaired development of trunk control, which can lead to significant limitations in activity and participation. Despite this, studies that investigated trunk control in this population are not found in the literature. The aim of this study was to investigate trunk control in children with a clinical diagnosis of microcephaly who are included in a physiotherapeutic rehabilitation program and a multidisciplinary team, verifying if there were changes in 30 days. The study was a prospective longitudinal observational type. Twenty-five children diagnosed with microcephaly aged 4.7 ± 2.05 years were included. Two assessments were performed: a) initial assessment, and b) reassessment after 30 days. In between the evaluations, the children continued to receive physical therapy intervention and/or a multidisciplinary team. To assess the level of trunk control, the Brazilian version of the Segmental Assessment of Trunk Control (SATCo-BR) was used, which detects the exact level of trunk control that presents motor impairment. Descriptive analysis was performed to characterize the functional level and the static, active and reactive balance tests of the SATCo-BR; to compare the functional level and the balance tests between the initial assessment and the reassessment, the Wilcoxon test was applied; and to compare the balance tests in each evaluation, Friedman's ANOVA with Wilcoxon's post-hoc and Bonferroni adjustment (p&lt;0.017) was used when there were significant differences. The results showed that 46.6% of the children did not have any trunk control and 40% had only head or upper trunk control. There were no differences between the assessments regarding the functional level. Children who did not have static and active trunk control at some functional level at the initial assessment started to show it during the reassessment. We concluded that children with microcephaly showed significant impairment in trunk control, especially in the presence of external balance disorders.
