    <title>Literatura de quem: a carnavalização na literatura infantil</title>
    <link>https://repositorio.ufms.br/handle/123456789/14148</link>

Abstract: This article aims to analyze the use of parenthetical cognitive verbs in theses and dissertations, highlighting their role in expressing subjectivity in academic texts. Verbs such as believe, think, suppose, and deem allow authors to express judgments and opinions in a balanced manner without compromising the objectivity of scientific discourse. The research investigates how these verbs, when used parenthetically, resemble adverbs and contribute to meaning construction. The findings reveal that formal academic writing incorporates these verbs to maintain subjectivity appropriately, enriching argumentation and strengthening the authorial stance.

    <description>Título: A esfera jornalística e seus gêneros: descrição e usos.
Abstract: This article analyzes the use of cognitive verbs as a subjectivity resource in journalistic discourse. The &#xD;
practice of inserting terms such as "I think", "I think", "I believe", "I imagine", "I believe" and "I &#xD;
suppose" in parentheses allows the journalist to express personal opinions without directly &#xD;
compromising the impartiality of the text. The research aims to investigate how these verbs act as &#xD;
argumentative strategies, creating a temporary departure from the central theme, while enriching the &#xD;
narrative with subjective reflections and interpretations. In addition to presenting practical examples, &#xD;
the article discusses the impact of parenthetization on the construction of the relationship between the &#xD;
journalist and the reader, highlighting how language is used to balance neutrality and opinion in a &#xD;
context of growing demand for transparency and informative engagement.

    <title>Escritas de Invenção no Romance Português Contemporâneo</title>
    <link>https://repositorio.ufms.br/handle/123456789/9759</link>
    <description>Título: Escritas de Invenção no Romance Português Contemporâneo
Abstract: The present work: Oriented Teaching Activities on the theme: Invention Writings in the&#xD;
Contemporary Portuguese Novel was guided through the responsibility of the teacher advisor Drº. André Luiz do Amaral at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul on the campus of Três Lagoas-MS and addresses the writings of invention in the contemporary Portuguese novel, exploring the use of innovative narrative techniques that break with traditional conventions. Based on analyses that deal with this theme, this study highlights the adoption of strategies such as plot fragmentation, metafiction and intertextuality, which challenge the reader to actively participate in the construction of the narrative meaning. In addition, in this research I address the implications of these stylistic innovations for the representation of social, cultural and identity issues in the context of Portuguese literature. This analysis seeks to understand how these writings of invention contribute to the renewal of the contemporary Portuguese novel, proposing new forms of engagement and critical reflexion.
