This year, the scientific event, III Sinatex, is linked to academic events, V ENATA - Academic Meeting on Food Technology and SEALIM 1.0 - Academic Week of Food Engineering. The events aimed to show the importance of valuing the use of flora resources from Cerrado and Pantanal biomes as a source of food and income in rural communities, combining economic benefits with conservation practices, guaranteeing the livelihood of families and their settlement in the countryside and sustainable extractivism. Thus, Sinatex, Enata and Sealim present in their annals research works and experience reports from various Education and Research Institutions, in which their authors seek to disseminate results of scientific studies and/or with social relevance in the areas of food quality analysis, processing and use.
