    <title>A ATUAÇÃO DA ENFERMAGEM NO PRÉ-NATAL FRENTE À SÍFILIS GESTACIONAL: REVISÃO NARRATIVA</title>
    <link>https://repositorio.ufms.br/handle/123456789/14442</link>
    <description>Título: A ATUAÇÃO DA ENFERMAGEM NO PRÉ-NATAL FRENTE À SÍFILIS GESTACIONAL: REVISÃO NARRATIVA
Abstract: Gestational syphilis remains a significant public health problem due to its high incidence and serious repercussions on maternal and neonatal health. Despite the availability of effective diagnostic methods and accessible treatment within primary health care, the persistence of syphilis cases in pregnant women and congenital syphilis highlights weaknesses in prenatal care and challenges related to treatment adherence among the companions of sexual partners. In this context, nursing plays a fundamental role in the prevention, early diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of cases, contributing to the reduction of vertical transmission of Treponema pallidum. Given the above, this study aims to verify, through a narrative literature review, the state of knowledge regarding the role of nursing in prenatal care in the face of gestational syphilis, with emphasis on screening actions, health education, timely treatment and follow-up of pregnant women, aiming at the prevention of congenital syphilis.&#xD;
&#xD;
The data analysis allowed the identification of six thematic categories: early diagnosis and screening of the disease; health education as a prevention tool; adherence to treatment by the pregnant woman and her sexual partner; Systematization of Nursing Care and continuous care; continuing education and professional qualification; and prevention of vertical transmission and reduction of congenital syphilis. It is concluded that the role of nursing is essential for strengthening prenatal care, contributing to the improvement of maternal and child indicators, reduction of vertical transmission and qualification of care provided to pregnant women.

    <title>Feature Model Engineering in Machine Learning for Pipeline Variability Management and Plant Disease Recognition in Brazilian Flora</title>
    <link>https://repositorio.ufms.br/handle/123456789/14441</link>
    <description>Título: Feature Model Engineering in Machine Learning for Pipeline Variability Management and Plant Disease Recognition in Brazilian Flora
Abstract: This work presents the engineering and empirical evaluation&#xD;
of a feature model for variability management in Artificial Intelligence&#xD;
(AI) pipelines applied to plant disease recognition in Brazilian flora. The&#xD;
proposed artifact, named PAIES (Pipeline Artificial Intelligence&#xD;
Engineering System) feature model, systematically organizes the&#xD;
configurable dimensions of an AI pipeline, data source, preprocessing,&#xD;
model training, evaluation and deployment, allowing the derivation of&#xD;
distinct configurations oriented by functional and non-functional quality&#xD;
attributes. Two configurations were derived and evaluated on the&#xD;
PlantVillage dataset [4]: Pipeline A (performance-oriented, using&#xD;
SwinTransformer and cloud deployment) and Pipeline B&#xD;
(efficiency-oriented, using MobileNet and edge deployment). The&#xD;
results indicate that Pipeline A achieves F1-Score of 0.9931 and&#xD;
accuracy of 0.9923, while Pipeline B achieves F1-Score of 0.9593 and&#xD;
accuracy of 0.9607, representing a loss of only ∼3.4 percentage points.&#xD;
However, the non-functional difference is substantial: Pipeline A&#xD;
presents latency 3.2× higher, model size 6.4× larger and energy&#xD;
consumption 4.7× greater. The results allow rejecting H0 in the context&#xD;
of this empirical study, indicating that the feature model may enable the&#xD;
prediction of significant non-functional trade-offs before model training.

    <title>FATORES ASSOCIADOS AO NEAR MISS MATERNO: UMA REVISÃO NARRATIVA</title>
    <link>https://repositorio.ufms.br/handle/123456789/14440</link>
    <description>Título: FATORES ASSOCIADOS AO NEAR MISS MATERNO: UMA REVISÃO NARRATIVA
Abstract: Maternal morbidity and mortality remain significant public health challenges, especially in&#xD;
developing countries, where social, healthcare-related, and clinical factors contribute to the&#xD;
occurrence of severe obstetric complications. In this context, Maternal Near Miss (MNM)&#xD;
stands out as an important indicator of the quality of obstetric care, as it refers to situations in&#xD;
which women survive life-threatening conditions during pregnancy, childbirth, or the&#xD;
postpartum period. This study aimed to identify, in the literature, the factors associated with&#xD;
the occurrence of Maternal Near Miss. This is a narrative literature review based on the&#xD;
analysis of dissertations and theses published between 2016 and 2024 in institutional&#xD;
repositories of Brazilian public universities. The search was conducted in 20 repositories&#xD;
using descriptors related to Maternal Near Miss, maternal mortality, obstetric nursing, and&#xD;
women's healthcare. Five studies were selected for the final sample. Data analysis was carried&#xD;
out using Bardin’s Content Analysis, allowing the construction of thematic categories related&#xD;
to the investigated phenomenon. The findings revealed that hypertensive disorders of&#xD;
pregnancy, particularly severe preeclampsia, eclampsia, and HELLP syndrome, were the main&#xD;
factors associated with MNM, followed by obstetric hemorrhages and severe infections. A&#xD;
predominance of non-white women, women with low educational levels, socioeconomic&#xD;
vulnerability, and inadequate prenatal care was also observed. In addition, weaknesses related&#xD;
to the organization of healthcare services, risk stratification, and timely access to specialized&#xD;
care were identified. It is concluded that the occurrence of Maternal Near Miss results from&#xD;
the interaction of clinical, social, and healthcare-related factors, highlighting the need to&#xD;
strengthen prenatal and obstetric care, invest in professional training, and reinforce the role of&#xD;
nursing in the prevention, early identification, and management of severe maternal&#xD;
complications.
