Abstract: Contemporary society is immersed in notable scientific and technological advancement, which poses significant challenges to education. Faced with this digital era, the school faces the challenge of adapting to the new generation of students, encouraging them to use technological resources to learn and understand institutionalized content, especially in the field of mathematics. In this context, the initiative to use the educational software Scratch, developed by the MIT Media Lab, shows promise. With this tool, it is possible to create games that encourage the practice of solving first degree equations in a competitive manner, increasing student interaction and interest in the subject. This playful and challenging approach makes learning more attractive and dynamic, contributing to better student performance in the teaching-learning process.
