    <summary type="text">Título: MEDIAÇÃO CULTURAL EM ESPAÇOS CULTURAIS: análise de uma experiência prática no Centro Cultural José Octávio Guizzo
Abstract: This undergraduate thesis investigates cultural mediation strategies in exhibition spaces, having as its object of analysis the practical experience developed during the exhibition Sofrência, held at the Centro Cultural José Octávio Guizzo in Campo Grande, MS, from September to October 2024. The general aim of the research is to investigate and reflect on artistic mediation strategies that foster reception, attentive listening, and the participation of different audiences, articulating contemporary theoretical references with practical experiences. The methodology adopted is qualitative in nature, based on the analysis of the experience lived as a cultural mediator in the exhibition mentioned above and complemented by a bibliographic review on cultural mediation and education in non-formal learning spaces. The theoretical framework draws on authors such as Teixeira Coelho (1997), Mirian Celeste Martins (2017), Bernard Darras (2009), Paulo Freire (2019), and Ana Mae Barbosa (2019), among others. The results demonstrate that cultural mediation, when grounded in a constructivist and dialogic approach, effectively contributes to the democratization of access to culture, promoting meaningful aesthetic experiences and reinforcing cultural spaces as territories of encounter and collective construction of meaning. The research also shows that the cultural mediator plays an essential role in the relationship between the public and the artwork, acting not as a transmitter of predetermined knowledge, but as a facilitator of processes of interpretation and cultural appropriation. Sensitive and participatory mediation practices enhance visitors’ cultural experiences, contributing to the formation of critical audiences and to the recognition of cultural spaces as places of belonging and social transformation.&#xD;

Abstract: This undergraduate thesis examines audiovisual production as a pedagogical mediation in high school Art education. Using a qualitative approach, it proposes a didactic sequence, ideation and scripting, capture, editing, and exhibition/reflection—grounded in accessible tools (smartphones, CapCut, and Clipchamp) and in theoretical references such as Ana Mae Barbosa, Paulo Freire, José Moran, Jenkins, and Mayer. It argues that audiovisual media, integrated with the triangular approach (appreciation, contextualization, and production) and active learning methodologies, enhances student protagonism, creativity, and media literacy, aligning technical and expressive competencies with communicative goals. The study highlights cognitive gains (synthesis, temporal ordering, and narrative cohesion), socioemotional gains (collaboration, time management, responsibility), and formative outcomes (critical citizenship). It also discusses practical and ethical challenges, unequal infrastructure, limited instructional time, teacher training, and legal considerations regarding image, voice, and copyright—with mitigation strategies such as open-media repositories, formal permissions, and accessibility practices (subtitling and intelligible audio). It concludes that, when intentionally planned, audiovisual production contributes to a more dialogic, creative school aligned with the challenges of the twenty-first century.&#xD;

Abstract: The present undergraduate thesis aims to investigate the teaching processes related to rock art in the city of Alcinópolis, located in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul and known as the state capital of rock art. This study was conducted using the methodological approach of oral history, together with field research. Interviews were carried out with two tourist guides and two teachers residing in the municipality in order to understand the paths of mediation regarding rock art from the perspective of the mediators of this knowledge, both in school contexts and in the visitation spaces of archaeological sites. This work emerged from personal experiences during visits to the city, which enabled a connection with its history and culture. Additionally, contact with the city hall and its departments, the Casa da Memória museum, residents of the municipality, and especially the proximity to schools and known archaeological sites contributed to this study. Through these experiences, travel notebooks were created in which Visual Arts students from UFMS produced drawings that were used throughout this research as propositional objects. It is expected that this study will contribute to a greater understanding of the educational processes related to rock art in the municipality.
