Abstract: This report presents the development of extension activities carried out by the Academic League of Nursing in Traumatic Emergencies (LAEET), focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and community education. The initiative comprised two main actions: a vaccination campaign against influenza, conducted in partnership with the Municipal Health Department, and a first aid training activity offered during the statewide event “Delas Day.” The objective was to contribute to public health through expanded vaccine coverage and to strengthen community knowledge on emergency response, particularly in cases of choking, cardiorespiratory arrest, and seizures. The activities were grounded in the principles of health promotion, epidemiological surveillance, and the pedagogical approach of dialogic and participatory education. Methodologically, the actions involved logistical preparation, adherence to biosafety protocols, practical demonstrations using realistic simulators, and direct engagement with the local population. As a result, 600 doses of influenza vaccines were administered during the community campaign, and approximately 3,000 people circulated through the event where the first aid training was held. The outcomes demonstrate the effectiveness of extension initiatives in promoting community health, expanding access to preventive measures, and enhancing the technical, communicative, and educational competencies of nursing students. These actions reinforce the social role of the university and the importance of integrating theoretical knowledge with practical experiences within professional training.&#xD;

    <summary type="text">Título: Atenção a homens e mulheres em situação de violência por parceiro íntimo (2024)
Abstract: Introduction: The experience began with a proposal to conduct a course on intimate partner violence on the UNA-SUS platform, an essential topic in healthcare practice. Method: The experience involved participation in an online theoretical module, which included reading materials, watching explanatory videos, case studies, and analyzing classic references, such as Lenore Walker's model and Brazilian research on gender-based violence. The activity required critical reflection and articulation between theory and practice. Results/Discussion: Throughout the course, I was able to deepen my understanding of the cycle of violence, recognizing its phases—tension, explosion, remorse, promises, and "honeymoon"—and its characteristic of a progressive spiral, becoming increasingly intense and frequent. Conclusion: The course on UNA-SUS represented a significant formative experience, broadening my perception of the complexity of intimate partner violence and strengthening my skills to act ethically, humanely, and sensitively. This learning directly contributes to my professional practice, reinforcing the importance of active listening, acceptance, and integrated action across different sectors.
